CarPlay Sounds: Startup Sounds (“the App”) provides custom audio triggers when connecting to or disconnecting from Apple CarPlay. We value your privacy and design our software to process your audio preferences locally on your device without storing or selling your personal information.

Information We Process

• Local Configuration & Audio: Your sound choices, play counts, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults. This information never leaves your device.
• Purchases & Subscription Data: In-app subscriptions are processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system and managed via RevenueCat. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous, random App User ID to keep track of your active subscription and entitlement status. We do not receive, store, or process your credit card numbers or payment credentials.
• Anonymous Analytics: We use TelemetryDeck to gather anonymized, privacy-conscious diagnostics (such as app launches, sound plays, and general device models). TelemetryDeck does not use tracking cookies, does not collect personal identifiers, and cannot be used to identify you.
• No Account Registration: The App requires no login, email registration, password, or account setup to function.

How We Use Information

Data processed by the App is strictly used to:

• Unlock Pro sounds and verify your active subscription status.
• Execute connection and disconnection sound actions via Apple Shortcuts and App Intents.
• Evaluate aggregate app usage to debug errors and optimize audio features.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party SDKs to facilitate purchases and analytics:

Data Retention & Security

Because we do not operate external user database servers, we do not retain personally identifiable information. All local settings are cleared automatically when you uninstall the App from your device.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not collect personal data and is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product updates or legal requirements. Updates will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
